The Renowned Musician Encourages Backing to Propel Palestinian Solidarity Song to UK Holiday Chart Peak.

A fundraising initiative is aiming to launch a traditional song from Palestine to the top of the UK charts. The effort aims to provide aid to Gaza's residents while also highlighting Palestinian artistic heritage.

Composer and producer Brian Eno, who performs on the track, stated that the song titled Lullaby represents a chance to stand with Palestinians during the holidays. He remarked the potential for an surprise number one.

Lullaby was brought to life by a trio of producers and composers. The song features a combination of the original Arabic with freshly written English words.

The organizers behind the initiative have emphasized that their aim is to raise as much as possible for a dedicated fund. These resources will be allocated to projects in Palestine through an partnering humanitarian organization.

“We don’t have a rigid aim,” a representative said. “We’ll go for the maximum achievable. Of course, the higher the total, the greater the impact. All proceeds are directed out to those in need in Gaza.”

The context in the region was described as its widespread damage, with a huge proportion of property reportedly levelled or seriously harmed.

“Against that backdrop, a couple of million is unlikely to make that much difference. But I think the significant factor is above all raising awareness for this issue and proving that another narrative exists.”
